Music in Our Schools Month

In celebration of Music in Our Schools Month, Naples Middle High School proudly hosted a joint concert that highlighted the progression of music education from kindergarten through high school. The event featured performances from a wide range of student groups, including the 6th grade band and choir, K-3 choir club, 4-6 choir club, Middle School Choir, High School Choir, Middle School Band, and High School Band. Each group demonstrated the growth and development of students at every stage of their musical journey, showcasing the dedication and skill cultivated throughout their years in the music program.

The concert, presented to the entire base community, offered a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the progression of music education across all grade levels. From the youngest voices in the K-3 choir club to the accomplished performances of the High School Choir and Band, each group reflected the important role that music plays in shaping students’ creative and academic growth. Special thanks to our dedicated directors—Mike Pavlik, Middle and High School Choir and Band Director; Stephen Ondak, Elementary Band Director; and Erika Wootton, Elementary Choir Director—whose leadership and passion made this celebration possible. The evening was a beautiful reminder of the hard work and commitment of both students and educators, highlighting the power of music in our schools and its ability to bring the community together.
