PTSA is hosting a Spring Membership Drive with a chance to win a 25 dollar NEX gift card for members who join by March 15, with winners announced at the May 17 PTSA meeting. PTSA is also sharing information on the senior scholarship application timeline, volunteer opportunities for Month of the Military Child and Teacher Appreciation Week, and the Spring Middle School Dance on May 15.

NMHS seniors have several upcoming events from March through graduation, including a St Patrick’s potluck on March 17 and senior cap decorating on April 30th. The senior trip is on April 28. Key late-May events include the senior recognition ceremony and the checkout-day movie matinee, followed by graduation practice on June 3 and graduation on June 4.

NMHS will host three evening events in April to support student planning for next year and beyond. Rising Senior Night is April 16, followed by Dual Enrollment Information Night and Wildcat AP Night on April 30.

Prom 2026 tickets will be available beginning April 6 for juniors and seniors, with sales held during lunch in the atrium or before school in Room 211. The Glass Slipper Closet for prom dresses will open on Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunch in Room 211, starting April 7.

Incoming families can use this roadmap to complete Naples Middle High School's new student registration, including required documents, DSIS account setup, and next steps with the school registrar and academic counseling. The overview also includes transportation registration, meal program information via LINQ Connect, and communication resources to stay connected.

Naples teams had a busy spring sports weekend, with softball earning two home wins over Rota and baseball picking up a win plus a tie in a doubleheader. Girls' soccer earned a road win at AOSR, while boys' soccer fell, and track and field competed at Vicenza with several top finishes and strong team scores.

Students from Ms. Pennasilico and Ms. Esposti’s Italian classes took part in a cultural exchange in downtown Naples by visiting a local high school, joining labs and activities, and exploring the city with their Italian peers. The exchange will continue when students from the partner school visit our campus to tour classrooms and attend the pep rally.

On Wednesday, April 22, NMHS NJROTC cadets hosted Area One Manager Mr. Greg Washington for their Annual Military Inspection. Cadets received high praise for professionalism and hard work, and thanked the parents and teachers who attended in support.

Last week, students from Ms. Pennasilico and Ms. Esposti’s Italian classes spent the day in the Vomero district of Naples, visiting the Certosa di San Martino and Castel Sant’Elmo. Students also explored local stores and a neighborhood market, practicing Italian while engaging with local culture.
