The second annual DODEA Europe South Drill PT and Academic Championship is coming to Naples Middle High School on Saturday, 28 February 2026, from 0800 to 1600. All Naples NJROTC cadets will attend, and volunteers from across the base community are needed to help support the event.

Eighth-grade students will take the NAEP assessment on March 10, 2026, during the school day, and eleventh-grade students will take an in-school SAT on March 3, 2026. Families are encouraged to note the dates and contact the school with any questions.

The Naples Middle High Athletic Boosters will host a Spring Bazaar from February 20 to 22 in the school gym, featuring vendors from across Europe. Proceeds from the event help support Naples Wildcat athletes.

This weekend, Naples wrestling turned in strong performances with the boys team winning the meet and the girls team tying for first, while boys basketball picked up two home wins over AOSR. The girls' basketball team battled hard in back-to-back games.

Last week, the NMHS Model United Nations team attended the eighteenth annual PRAMUN conference in Prague, where the team had six resolutions passed, the most ever for Naples. Maggie S also spoke at the General Assembly before an audience of 500 students from around the world.

AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, is looking for motivated current sixth through ninth grade students who want to build strong academic skills, stay organized, and prepare for college and careers in a collaborative, goal-driven community. Applications for next year’s AVID program will be available soon, and questions may be directed to Ms. Millwood for middle school AVID and to Dr. Johnson for high school AVID.

Students in AP Human Geography hosted the annual Food for Thought Festival, transforming the high school lunch period into an interactive exploration of global food systems, agriculture, and innovation. With student-run booths, games, and samples, the event blended Unit 5 content with real-world skills in teamwork and communication.

The Class of 2027 is selling t-shirts and sweatshirts to help cover prom expenses, with sales running through February 21, 2026. For more information, families can contact Cynda Masterman or visit the fundraiser link.

NHS Varsity Cheerleading will be selling candy and chips after school from February 2 to 6 from 2:30 to 2:50 p.m. by the flag pole between the ES and MHS. Items are one dollar each, and donations are also welcome to help raise funds for their trip to Euros.

This week, Wildcat basketball and cheer will be on the road at AOSR on Friday and Saturday, while wrestling hosts sectionals at home with opening ceremonies at 09:00 on Saturday and sells spirit gear. The Tiger Shark swim team will also have a home meet.
