Winter Sports Season Kicks Off For Wildcats
Basketball opens on the road while boys wrestling wins home meet and girls wrestling takes second
The winter sports season started last weekend with our basketball teams on the road and a home wrestling match. The boys' basketball team faced Rota and Baumholder, while the girls' team also took on Rota and Baumholder as they opened their season in Rota. A special thank you to everyone who made it out to the match to cheer on our Wildcats.
On the mats, Naples boys wrestling finished first as a team with 104 points, ahead of Vicenza, Rota, Aviano, and Sigonella. Girls wrestling finished second with 52 points in a close battle with Sigonella, Rota, Vicenza, and Aviano.
Naples also had several top-three individual finishers. For the girls' team, the top three finishers included Jayiah C, Illyana R, Alyssa M, Gloria C, and Audrey A. For the boys team, the top three finishers included Ali V, Keith A, Deshaun B, Antoine B, Julian P, Hayden S, Phoenix G, Aden L, Patrick R, Daniel A, Xavier C, and Hans V.
