Wildcats boys basketball split with Vicenza girls battle hard and wrestling teams shine at Vilseck

Winter sports were in full swing this weekend as Wildcats basketball hosted Vicenza and the wrestling teams competed at Vilseck. The boys basketball team opened with an exciting 58- 57 win on Friday, capped by a buzzer-beater from Jeremiah R, before coming up short 44- 68 on Saturday. The girls' basketball team battled hard in two games against Vicenza, falling 8-41 on Friday and 35-51 on Saturday.
On the road at Vilseck, boys wrestling earned a strong second-place team finish while girls wrestling took first place. Individual match results were not reported, but both teams represented Naples well. Our cheerleaders also did a great job keeping the energy high and supporting the teams throughout the home games.
