Wildcats Shine at Junior Leadership Seminar
Seven NMHS students build leadership skills and represent Naples at Junior Leadership Seminar in Germany
During a cold week in Hubengen, Germany, seven of our middle school students attended the Junior Leadership Seminar. The purpose of JLS is to build leadership skills in our students and use them to improve their community. Our Naples J L S team learned to debate, lead others toward a common goal, and meet other students from all over DODEA Europe, and some goats. The students worked excellently together within their groups each day to complete their assignments and to think about how they can use their learning to improve Naples Middle High School.
Our seven N M H S students were excellent ambassadors for our school and community during our week at J L S. Abigail T was selected by her color group, which is made up of students from multiple schools, to receive the Color Group Award. Cora B was selected as the JLS Ambassador Student for the school year 2026 to 2027. This means she will be leading JLS next year. She will be working not only with N M H S students but with all the students who will be attending J L S next year.
The next step for our JLS students is to work on a project that benefits our school and or our Naples community. Congratulations to each of them.
