Spring Sports Results (Weekend of 4/25/26)
Soccer earns two home wins while baseball softball and track continue spring competition
Naples spring sports continued with competition in soccer, baseball, softball, and track and field.
On the pitch, Naples boys soccer earned a 5 to 0 home win over Sigonella. Milosz B scored twice, Josh B scored twice, and Ollie H added another goal. Theis M recorded an assist. Naples girls soccer also earned a home win, defeating Sigonella 6 to 1.
On the baseball field, Naples played two road games at Sigonella. The Wildcats fell 12 to 11 on Friday in a close contest and 8 to 4 on Saturday. Friday highlights included Jayden F going 2 for 2, Jeramiah R hitting a triple with two RBI, and Hayden S, Andrew S, and Grayson W each adding two RBI.
Softball also traveled to Sigonella for two games. Naples fell 7 to 3 on Friday and 7 to 4 on Saturday. Savannah I pitched six innings on Saturday with 10 strikeouts.
In track and field, Naples athletes posted several strong results. Hudson S won the 3200, with Andrew J finishing second in the same event. Sam R placed second in the 800, Henry C placed third in the 1600, and Michael R finished fourth in both the 200 and 400. Mason H placed second in high jump, while Ethan S and Zavian J placed second and fourth in triple jump. On the girls side, Abrial G placed second in both discus and shot put, Danielle F placed fourth in the 1600, and the Naples sprint medley relay team earned first place.
