Dear Wildcat Parents/Guardians,

As part of the DoDEA School Health Services Program, vision and hearing screenings will be conducted for all 7th and 10th-grade students.

  • Screening dates for 7th-grade students: 12-16 January 2026
  • Screening dates for 10th-grade students: 26-30 January 2026

Vision and hearing screenings are conducted to help identify students who may have difficulty seeing or hearing, which may affect academic performance. The screenings are brief, non-invasive, and conducted by qualified school health personnel in accordance with DoDEA guidelines.

Please Note:

  • These screenings are not diagnostic examinations.
  • If your child(ren) does not meet the screening criteria, you will be notified in writing with recommendations for follow-up care.
  • Students who wear glasses/contacts or hearing aids should bring them to school on the day/week of screening.

If you do not wish for your child(ren) to participate, please notify the school nurse in writing. Phone/Email: +39 04441060261 and cristina.hall@dodea.edu

Thank you for your continued support of your child’s health and academic success.

Sincerely,

Nurse Hall
