Ninth Graders Participate in Battle of the Books Competition
Students compete in first annual reading trivia challenge with Rota Middle High School
Ninth-grade students recently completed the first annual Battle of the Books competition against Rota Middle High School. Students read as many books as possible from the Battle of the Books list to help their teams compete in the final trivia competition.
The competition included about 35 questions, with roughly one to two questions for each of the 20 books on the list. Naples building champions, The Turtles, will compete in a final round against the Rota building champions on Friday, June 5 during seminar.
Congratulations to The Turtles for earning first place with 24 points. Team members included Lili, Keilani, Zacara, Lucas, Cassie, Jenna, and Ansley.
