Naples Wildcats Take Part in Creative Connections Arts Symposium
High school artists and performers attend six day visual and performing arts event in Germany
Naples Wildcats recently attended Creative Connections, a six-day visual and performing arts symposium for talented high school students selected through application and audition. The event took place from January 25 to 30, 2026, in Hubingen, Germany.
During the symposium, students worked with experienced DoDEA teachers and contracted art and music specialists. Classes vary from year to year, and offerings often include drama, show choir, strings, dance, costuming, video production, drawing, mixed media, and watercolor. The week of intensive instruction challenges students to explore new creative avenues and refine their skills to the highest levels.
Creative Connections culminated in an exhibition of artwork, followed by an evening performance showcasing what students had learned throughout the week. It was a memorable arts experience for our Wildcats.
