Italian Classes Explore Vomero Through Immersive Learning
Ms. Pennasilico and Ms. Esposti’s students visit historic sites and practice Italian in local shops and markets
Last week, students from Ms. Pennasilico and Ms. Esposti’s Italian classes enjoyed an immersive learning experience in the Vomero district of Naples. They explored the Certosa di San Martino and Castel Sant’Elmo, a 14th-century fortress offering 360-degree views of the city.
The day continued with shopping in local stores and a neighborhood market, where students practiced their Italian while engaging with local culture. Learning beyond the classroom proved inspiring, and students enjoyed the experience.
