AP Government Students Participate in Moot Court Simulation

Last week, AP Government and Politics students participated in a Moot Court simulation. Students prepared by reading case briefs, analyzing constitutional precedents, and developing legal arguments for both sides of the case. Students independently evaluated constitutional arguments, weighed evidence, and applied legal reasoning.

Throughout the simulation, students practiced critical thinking, civil discourse, public speaking, and constitutional analysis while taking on the authentic roles of advocates and justices. The activity provided a meaningful opportunity to experience how appellate cases are argued and decided in the American legal system.
